Destaco 6001-MSS straight line action clamp is designed for holding workpieces against a vertical surface in metalworking & manufacturing facilities. This clamp is ideal for various industrial operations including testing & assembly, gluing & soldering applications. This heavy duty clamp features stainless steel construction that delivers high impact strength and resistance against wear / damage from harsh industrial conditions. Its compact design & handle makes it usable in confined spaces & tough to reach areas while delivering a maximum holding capacity of 150 lb. This straight line action clamp locks over centre in both retracted & extended positions, as long as the handle is allowed to drop below the mounting plane. Destaco 6001-MSS straight line action clamp features an insulated, plastic grip handle for minimising user fatigue over prolonged usage. It comes with a flanged style base for ease of installation on flat surfaces / workbenches, the base can also be side mounted if required. This straight line toggle clamp further features a threaded body that enables through hole mounting for easy & secure clamping. The clamps round plunger securely holds the workpiece in position for preventing slippage mid operation.

A. Destaco straight line action clamps are manually operated push / pull style clamps that are used for a range of industrial applications including welding, woodworking, tensioning devices and various assembly & testing operations.
A. The holding capacity or the holding force depicts the clamp's capability to hold down the sheet metal or equipment on the assembly line or during any other manufacturing process.
A. Some straight line action clamps, such as Destaco 6015-M clamp, feature a threaded plunger that is manually fastened using a plastic grip handle. These clamps feature a one way locking handle (retracted position) for enabling the user to easily engage & lock the clamp.
A. Unlike straight line action pneumatic clamps, Destaco manual style clamps feature separate handles for engaging the plunger to hold the workpiece in place.
A. For ensuring smooth operation & durability of mechanical clamps, it is recommended to use a coupling grease like Mobil XTC.
A. The red coloured handles alert the user about the location of the operating handle and when he should grab it. The red colour has no additional advantage to the working of the clamps.
A. Yes, carbon steel clamps from Destaco are zinc plated for withstanding & minimising wear against harsh industrial environments. For applications that require clamping in outdoor conditions, stainless steel clamps are also available.
