Destaco 602-MMSS through hole straight line action clamp uses push / pull or straight line toggle clamping action and moves the plunger in & out along the axis. This fully retractable locator can be locked in two positions, allowing it to be used as either a pull or push clamp. The clamp is ideal for the automotive, aerospace and food & packaging industries for applying clamping force sideways rather than from the top (securing the workpiece in limited space). It comes equipped with a lever handle that engages the plunger to press against the workpiece & hold it in place while tensioning devices, fixturing, welding, testing, plastic injection molding, CNC machining, assembling and staking or light pressworking of industrial equipment. Besides locking in the extended position, this straight line action clamp also allows handle rotation and falling below the mounting plane, to be locked in the retracted position.
