White-Rodgers 25M01A-100 dryer gas valve blows air through a burner assembly consisting of an ignitor, a gas valve and a flame sensor to heat air. This universal replacement unit is used on gas clothes dryers featuring HSI systems.

Working Mechanism:

• White-Rodgers 25M01A-100 dryer gas valve can be easily mounted in horizontal, vertical & 90 degree positions.
• The dryer gas valve has up to two coils, also known as solenoids, which open and close the valve to control the flow of gas.
• When the sensor heats up or the igniter reaches the maximum temperature, these coils (gas valve solenoid, coil valve and dryer valve coil kit) work together to open the circuit internally and allow the gas to enter the burner through the igniter and the secondary coil.
• All the coils get energised automatically and gas flows past the still warm igniter and explode into a blue flame.
• This safety mechanism ensures that there is no unsafe build-up of gases inside the appliance.
