About Watts

The brand's catalogue includes water pressure valves, relief valves, backflow preventers, pressure regulators and tube fittings. The company's anti-siphon backflow preventers are widely used in drainage systems to prevent potable water contamination from the reverse flow of polluted water. These backflow preventers have a lead-free brass / bronze body which provides excellent machinability and fatigue resistance. They are capable of withstanding temperatures and pressures up to 180 degrees F and 180 psi, respectively. Watts pressure reducing valves maintain a reduced outlet pressure to prevent the plumbing units from high-pressure damage, irrespective of the increased inlet pressure demand. These Watts valves feature an adjustment spring to obtain the desired pressure and are suitable for use with sterilisers, single radiators and oil lines. Choose from a broad range of these valves and Watts prv repair kits suitable for pressure reducing valves, such as adapters and air cocks on Raptor Supplies.

Things To Consider

Cross-Reference Alternatives

Watts Valves' MPNs cross individual references to the equivalent Apollo model numbers. So if you are looking for competitor items that are either out of stock or obsolete, chances are Raptor Supplies has the equivalent Watts valves and repair kits available.

Shipping

These Watts valves have pressures ranging from 30 psi to 250 psi. They are heavy or light in weight and therefore require careful packaging as some products might get damaged while shipping. Hence, these Watts valves, prv repair kits, fitting systems, tubing and related accessories are delivered by air freight and courier shipment for minimum downtime.

Watts Competitive Advantages

Watts SmartStream Series UV Systems

These UV disinfection systems protect against parasites, bacteria and other disease-causing microorganisms. They remove dissolved substances, such as iron, hardness minerals, tannin and manganese while eliminating colour and turbidity to improve UV disinfection performance and ensure the production of safe, high-quality water. These water treatment systems come with auto lamp dimming features that minimise energy consumption by up to 46% during no-flow conditions. The automatic lamp identification (wireless RFID) assures replacement of parts with correct fragments and an intuitive touchscreen display enhances usability.

Watts OneFlow Scale Prevention Solutions

These scale prevention solutions use template-assisted crystallisation (TAC) technology to protect plumbing components, pipes and appliances from the negative effects of hard water. The system requires very little maintenance, no backwashing, no salt and no electricity. They are an environmental-friendly and economical alternative to water scale sequestering devices or water softening, having maximum flow rates up to 75 gpm.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does OneFlow work?

OneFlow scale prevention solution improves water quality by neutralising limescale. The TAC media present in the cartridge attract magnesium and calcium minerals in hard water and convert these into microscopic crystals. After formation, these microcrystals break down rapidly and release as inert limescale particles. Thus, the stubborn limescale is reduced in heating elements, pipes and taps.

Does OneFlow remove minerals from water?

OneFlow technology does not remove any minerals from drinking water with an integrated 20-micron carbon filter and the TAC cartridge.
