Working Mechanism:

• Place a small amount of fluid into the suction hose and permit it to enter the pump head by raising the hose above the pump. This will lubricate the internal gears of the pump and prevent dry running, which can cause gear wear.
• The oil flows through the primary filter first, where coarse particulate is removed.
• The fluid then flows through the secondary filter where fine particulate and water are removed.

Q. How are pneumatic handheld filter carts installed?

A.

• Attach one hose to the suction side of the pump (intake side) tightly using the JIC fitting.
• Connect another hose using the same tool to the discharge side.
• Hand-tighten spin-on filters to form a proper seal with the gasket around the filter and filter head.
• Place the suction hose into the container or machinery which needs to be emptied and / or filtered.
• Ensure that the suction hose is not impeded or blocked by internal components.
• Place the discharge hose into another opening in the machinery or container if transferring fluids.
• Fill the FRL reservoir to the proper level with SAE 10W high detergent or non-detergent motor oil. In the case of food processing applications, White Rex 425 food-grade motor oil is recommended.
• Adjust lubricator to feed 1 drop of oil for every 50 CFM of air while the unit is working or 1 drop of oil per continuous minute of run time for high speed / continuous duty usage.
• Connect the air supply to the filter cart FRL and clean the compressed air connection.
