Working Mechanism:

• The thermal tripping mechanism of the circuit involves a bimetallic strip. As the current flowing through the circuit persist above the breaker's designated current limit for an extended duration, the bimetallic strip experiences heating due to the heating effect. As a consequence of the distinct expansion rates between its two metal layers, the strip undergoes flexion, resulting in the disengagement of the latch responsible for keeping the contacts closed. This motion triggers the divergence of the contacts, effectively interrupting the circuit connection and isolating the faulty segment from the power source.
