It is suitable for measuring minimum / maximum temperature in mechanical bearings / motors & electrical equipment for calibration & control of heater / oven temperatures; monitoring materials in heating / cooling processes, quality control monitoring, automotive diagnostics and conducting HVAC/R energy audits to identify leaks / infiltration. R2002-NIST thermometer also features an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio with a fixed 0.95 emissivity to cover 90% of non-contact temperature applications.

Working Mechanism:

• Point this REED Instruments R2002-NIST infrared thermometer toward the surface to be measured.
• Press & hold the trigger to begin measuring as denoted by the SCAN icon on the LCD.
