Product Details:

Equipment like gearboxes, pumps and reservoirs must "breathe" when the air in the headspace expands and contracts due to temperature & oil level changes. When equipment breathes, dirt / debris / moisture is drawn in, contaminating the lubricant and eventually damaging the equipment. Parker 934332T TriCeptor breather is a multi-tier device installed on machines to keep two critical contaminants out - moisture and dust particles.

Working Mechanism:

  • Contaminated air enters the desiccant breather and passes through the first solid particle filter as the machine breathes. This removes particles having diameters greater than or equal to 2 microns.
  • The outside air is dehydrated by passing it through a container containing silica gel desiccant, which extracts the water vapour in the air.
  • The outside air is filtered by a third 2-micron solid particle filter located at the bottom of the desiccant breather.

Features:

  • Prevents moisture from entering hydraulic systems through the incoming air supply
  • Features clarified co-polymer, polypropylene housing to provide added shock absorption and enhanced durability
  • Comes with specially designed filter pads and has efficiency of 98.7% @ 3 microns to remove solid contaminants and release them when the air flows in the opposite direction
  • Features silica gel filter media to remove contaminants and foam pads to protect against external damages
  • Used to replace non-active existing filters and can be replaced when the desiccant colour changes from blue to pink
  • Protects against high-temperature swings and moisture
  • Reduces head space Relative Humidity to as low as 20%
  • Excellent performance in high humidity (>40% RH) environments
