LUBESITE 704 Grease Feeder, 4 oz. Capacity, 1/8 Inch NPT

LubeSite 704 grease feeder allows precise dispensing of the grease to a bearing and other critical moving components in ambient temperatures up to 450 degrees F. It is ideal for application in steel mills, glass plants, lumber drying kilns, nuclear environments and metal treating settings.

Working Mechanism:

• Start-up Instructions:
• Use proper spring: The unit comes with a factory-equipped medium spring (green) that corrects the grease feeding pressure for most applications. A heavyweight spring (yellow) is also supplied with the pack.
• Remove the grease fitting from the equipment or bearing housing and check that the thread on the grease fitting is 1/8 inches.
• Fill the LubeSite unit with a non-separating grease until the grease comes out of the base coupler. The first filling must be above the caution line to prevent air pockets.
• Now mount the LubeSite unit on the equipment immediately.
• Screw the LubeSite assembly directly into the grease fitting hole (must be tuned hand tight only).
• LubeSite unit can be refilled while mounted on the equipment.

• Features a refillable, transparent reservoir that permits visual inspection of the grease level at a safe distance.
• Consists of a spring-loaded piston and a seal ring assembly to regulate the grease flow and offer chemical resistance, respectively.
• Graduated channels in the meter rod allow the bearing to use the grease as required and the Viton seal ring offers chemical resistance.
• Utilises Venturi mechanism to discharge the lubricant only when the bearings are in motion, thus eliminating over-lubrication.
