Irwin 11135ZR screw extractor set is designed to remove broken studs, sockets, bolts, screws and fittings without damaging workpieces. When the user turns the tool, the spiral flute gets embedded deeper into the metal, resulting in an increase in the fastener resistance and the extractor's grip simultaneously.

Working Mechanism:

• Firstly, drill a hole in the threaded part or fastener to be removed. The hole must be drilled deep enough for the extractor to grip the damaged fastener without bottoming out.
• Insert the extractor and turn the wrench or drive tool in the opposite direction of the stuck fastener.
• As the extractor is turned, the flutes on the tool dig into the screw, locking it tightly and pulling it out from the workpiece.
