GREENLEE 1800 Mechanical Conduit Bender, 1/2 To 1 Inch Conduit Size

Greenlee 1800 bender is a manually powered unit for bending 1/2, 3/4 and 1-inch rigid conduits, pipes and IMCs (intermediate metallic conduits).

Working Mechanism:

• Park the bender on a flat & firm surface, such as a concrete floor. Do not set it up on an inclined surface.
• Insert a 5 ft piece of 1-inch-diameter rigid conduit into the lever unit to serve as the bending handle.
• Raise the handle completely to release the ratchet mechanism.
• Manually rotate the shoe counterclockwise.
• Lower the handle.
• Slide the conduit to be bent over the pipe support roller, into the shoe groove, and past the wheel edge of the pipe hook.
• Line up the bending mark with the front edge of the pipe hook.
• Lift the handle until the ratchet clicks once.
• Push the handle down.
• Repeat until the bend is complete.
• Raise the handle back to the starting position.
• Lift the tail of pipe and return the shoe to load position.
• Remove the conduit from the bender.
• Lower the handle.
