ARO PD15A-ASS-STT double diaphragm pump transfers corrosive chemicals, viscous liquids, abrasive slurries and wastewater. It is ideal for chemical processing, wastewater treatment and mining.
A. There is usually some pulsation of discharge flow in air-operated diaphragm pumps which can cause excess movement. This can be reduced by using pulsation dampeners with a membrane with a cushion of compressible gas / air that flexes to absorb the pulse, allowing a laminar flow downstream of the dampener.
