Norton Abrasives sanding belts are used for high-speed sanding of flat surfaces; ideal for shaping & finishing wood, removing paints, and metal & alloy finishing. They are wrapped around an electrically rotating drum or motor for continuous sanding action with a roll of abrasive (ceramic / zirconia alumina / aluminium oxide / ceramic aluminium oxide). The abrasive backing materials (cloth / polyester / polyester cloth / cotton / rayon / nylon) are used to provide support to the abrasive layer by withstanding high grinding pressures and are highly flexible for conforming to contours. Choose from a wide range of fine grade sanding belts, available in 100 to 320 grit sizes on Raptor Supplies.
