Working Mechanism

  • The process involves a central boiler that heats water until it becomes steam.
  • The steam (carried by its pressure) runs through pipes and delivers heat across the building through radiators.
  • As the steam cools down, it becomes condensate (water) and runs down the boiler to be reused.

Features

  • They feature a four-gallon cast aluminium reservoir for collecting condensate back down the return line, where it can be fed back into the boiler.
  • They come with a dual voltage motor (115 / 230V) to produce a maximum flow rate of 4200 gallons/hr.
  • These commercial pumps are integrated with oil & chemical resistant elements for extended pump life and can withstand a maximum temperature of 212 degrees F.
  • They are vapour sealed to resist steam ratings up to 2000 EDR (480,000 BTU) and allow usable lifts up to 40 feet (max).

Frequently Asked Questions

What are radiators?

Radiators are designed to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another for heating and cooling.

What is the purpose of an internal junction box?

SC-1A Series internal junction box helps to encase electrical connections and protect them against external factors, reducing the chances of accidental electrical shocks.

What is the function of motor bearings?

These pumps come with motor bearings that prevent steam and water splashes, offering an extended motor life.
