EATON Flow Control Valves

Eaton flow control valves check and regulate the flow of fluids in water & sewage systems, HVAC systems, oil & gas pipelines and chemical processing plants. These valves comply with the ISO cleanliness code of 18/16/13 microns, preventing contaminants from entering the valves.

Working Mechanism

  • These differential pressure control valves sense the pressure drop across the restriction and adjust the valve opening to maintain a constant pressure drop.
  • When the flow rate increases, the pressure drop across the restriction decreases and the differential pressure control valve reduces its opening to increase the pressure drop back to the set point.
  • Conversely, when the flow rate decreases, the pressure drop across the restriction increases and the valve opens to decrease the pressure drop to the set point.

Features

  • Eaton flow control valves have Buna-N seals to minimise leaks.
  • They have steel construction to handle temperatures between -40 and 120 degrees C.
  • These valves come with two / three ports for connecting & regulating flows from two / three different pipes.
  • They feature steel construction enclosed within aluminium housing for protection against corrosion.

Compatible Accessories

  • Eaton Seal Kits: These spare kits are ideal for replacing existing seals to minimise leakage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to maintain a flow control valve?

Regularly ensure their optimum operation by cleaning, lubricating and replacing any worn or damaged parts.

How to select the right valve size for a given application?

The valve size should be selected based on the maximum flow rate required for the application.

How to install Eaton flow control valves?

  • Before installing the valve, turn off the system and release any pressure.
  • Determine the correct valve port positions.
  • Screw the valve until it is hand-tight in the chosen port.
  • After installing the valve, restart the system and inspect for leaks.

Can these valves withstand extreme temperatures?

Eaton flow control valves can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 120 degrees C.
