Working Mechanism

  • The light source emits a beam of light, and is directed towards the photodetector.
  • When an object enters the sensing area and interrupts the beam of light, the photodetector sends a signal to the electronic control unit, which activates the switch to change its state.
  • The control unit processes the signals from the photodetector and uses them to control the switch, which can be configured for a normally open or normally closed operation.

Features

  • They come with a selector switch for operating in light or dark.
  • These sensors are equipped with logic modules for added control.
  • They feature rugged construction to withstand extreme industrial environments.
  • These sensor heads can be rotated to any of the four positions and can be interchanged with E51 proximity sensors.
  • They further feature bifurcated engagement prongs for a secure electrical connection when plugged into receptacle stabs.

Standards and Approvals

  • CSA
  • UL
  • CE
