Working Mechanism

  • Until the exit (regulated) pressure exceeds the setting of the pilot section, this valve is generally open, enabling intake oil to travel to the regulated line.
  • When this setting is reached, a pilot flow takes place, creating an imbalance in pressure across the main spool, which then moves to throttle the incoming flow and stop any further pressure rise in the regulated line.
  • The main spool slides back further, opening the regulated port to the tank line, acting as a relief valve if any external force causes the regulated pressure to climb more than 5 to 10% above the setting.

Features

  • These pilot-operated valves utilise Buna-N seals to prevent fluid leakage.
  • They are made of steel for structural rigidity and long service life.
  • These valves offer screw-in cartridge mounting for easy and secure installation.
  • They comply with the ISO cleanliness code of 18/16/13 to prevent contamination.
  • These Danfoss PRV12-10 Series pressure control valves have an operating pressure range from 8.5 to 350 bar.

Compatible Accessories

  • Eaton 889599 Seal Kit: This seal repair kit features a Viton seal to replace worn-out and damaged seals in these flow control valves.
