Eaton CHND-Series moulded case circuit breakers are useful in the manufacturing, construction and automobile industries. These NG-frame units detect overloading and interrupt the supply to save equipment from short circuits.
ACircuit breakers can be easily reset after they trip due to a fault, making them reusable units. Fuses, on the other hand, break once they detect overload and cannot be used more than once.
When moisture corrodes wiring and other electrical contacts, short-circuit occurs. Humidity causes a current increase in the circuit, which trips the circuit breaker.
A switch opens and closes the circuit in normal operation, while a circuit breaker opens or closes the circuit during faulty currents.
