Dayton AC gearmotors provide enough force required to operate a variety of high-power equipment, such as lifts, pumps, X-ray equipment, water softeners, amusement devices, valve actuators, displays, security systems, food equipment and medical tables. These units consist of a motor, gear and bearings, working together to generate high-intensity torque at relatively low speed, thus providing a quiet operation. They feature die-cast aluminium housing for excellent corrosion resistance and lip-type seal (installed on input & output shafts) to retain lubrication and prevent ingress of contaminants. They further have TENV / TEFC enclosure for keeping the motor safe from overheating and moisture.
