Working Mechanism

  • The plug should be placed inside the opening of the pipe which needs to be blocked for testing.
  • Users should connect the end of the inflation hose to the fitting on the plug, while the other end of the inflation hose should be connected to the pump or line pressure.
  • Inflate the plug using the pump connected to the inflation hose.
  • The inflated plug completely blocks / seals the pipe for testing tasks.
  • After testing, the inflation hose should be deflated & removed first, and then the plug should be deflated.

Features

  • These plugs feature mechanically bonded end plates and natural rubber construction for eliminating failures during plug expansion / contraction.
  • The rubber construction ensures that the plug holds the air pressure for extended periods of time without leakage.
  • These units have full body cording for durability.
  • They have small deflated diameters for enabling easy storage.
  • The aluminium end plates prevent corrosion upon contacting fluids for extended periods.
  • These plugs have pressure relief valves for ensuring user safety.
