Apollo 83B-440 Series ball valves are designed for industries where efficient flow control and shut-off capabilities are required. They feature a full port design that provides a larger flow path as compared to standard port valves, allowing reduced pressure drops and improved flow capacity. These valves have butt weld ends that allow for direct welding into a pipeline or system, offering a strong and leak-free joint. They are constructed with a three-piece design consisting of a body and two end caps, which allows easy disassembly and maintenance without needing to remove the entire valve from the pipeline. These valves are constructed with stainless steel material providing excellent corrosion resistance, and have reinforced Teflon seats that help to ensure tight shut-off and minimum leakage. The 83B-440 Series ball valves also incorporate a two-position locking mechanism to prevent the lever from being operated and secure the valve in a specific position, preventing accidental operation or unauthorised access.
