How can I install a QD bushing?

Inspect QD hubs and bushings for any signs of damage. Remove all nicks, paints and grease from mating surfaces.Position the compatible key in the shaft's keyseat.Slide the bushing onto the shaft and key. Make sure that the small end of the taper is outboard.Slide the tapered hub over the bushing.Align the shaft key with one of the slots in the hub.Similarly, align the drilled holes in the mating hub with the threaded holes in the bushing.Put one cap screw into each drilled hole in the mating hub and the threaded hole.By using a torque wrench, tighten all cap screws uniformly and progressively in rotation.Avoid lubricating or using excessive wrench torques, which may lead to hub stresses that might result in the breaking of the mating hub.
