BLittle Giant Pumps Pit Plus simplex systems are ideal for collecting effluent, sewage, seepage and drainage water. They include a float switch, cover, pump and roto-molded polyethylene basin and feature a radial rib design for additional strength. The integrated anti-flotation collars can withstand increased force and the 360 degree rotating, molded handles allow easy handling. These systems have switch cord grips & locators for directional controls. They are available in 1 & 2 piece cover variants with split-fit or bolt-on flanges.

Little Giant Pumps duplex sewage pumps are pre-assembled duplex systems used for sewage, effluent, drainage and seepage applications. Each package includes sump pumps, control panel, basin & basin cover, control floats and check valves. The basin and basin cover are made from high-density polyethylene structural foam to protect from pumps when submerged in a sump. They feature access opening for sump pipes connecting to pumps and durable steel gasket cover around the opening to provide a tight connection. The capacitor-start pumps operate in an alternate cycle to prevent delay or interruption in pumping strokes. They are equipped with a 20 ft long cord for use in deeper tanks & sumps, and 3 sensor floats for high-water detection & pump On / Off. Choose from a wide range of Little Giant duplex sewage packages, available in 115 and 230VAC voltage ratings.

Zoeller sewage sump pump basins feature high-density polyethene structural foam (PSF) / polyethene / fibreglass seam-free construction ideal for collecting the flooded water from HVAC equipment, basements and pressure sewer systems. These IAPMO approved sewage basins are watertight and gas-tight when properly installed, and come with a durable steel cover with gaskets, two pump plates and an inspection plate (on simplex and duplex sewage basins) for keeping the accumulated water covered and providing inline, easy maintenance services, respectively. BDayton sewage or sump basin covers are designed to prevent the ingress of debris and ground soil into the sewage pit, as well as keep the sewage, gas, fumes & vapours from venting out of the system. These units further ensure that the sump pump inlet is not clogged while still providing a tight seal around outlets and vent pipes. They are compatible for use with basins with a maximum external diameter of 24 inches and feature plastic / steel construction to ensure structural rigidity under abrasive conditions.

Simplex / duplex wastewater sewage systems are designed for trapping underground effluent, sewage or drainage water in commercial and industrial applications. Raptor Supplies offers a wide array of Dayton, Zoeller and Little Giant Pumps sump basin systems featuring fibreglass / dense polyethylene structural foam basins that are capable of withstanding extremely abrasive conditions. These systems have a steel gasket cover with seam-free, one-piece durable construction that offers water- and gas-tight sealing capacities. For accessing the switch and the pump independently, the pre-assembled duplex sump basin units feature two separate access covers and are capable of handling temperatures up to 130 degrees F. Sump pumps are used to handle excess water, whereas sewage pumps are designed to handle sewage. They look alike and are used in home basements, but are employed for different purposes.
The pumps should be tested and inspected at least once a year. During this process, check if there's any mud trapped in the pumps that might impede water flow.
The average life of these pumps is about 10 years.
