DBussmann 327-40 Series cable fuse links are a type of speciality fuses that are designed to protect electrical distribution systems, such as overhead power lines, from overcurrent conditions and short circuits. They feature removable buttons that fuse links to be used in all open and enclosed cutouts and a swagged ferrule that extends around the fuse link tube to compress and secure the stranded wire. These low-melting temperature fuse links have dual elements with exceptional overload capability, which means they can carry 150 per cent of their continuous current rating without damaging the fuse links or cutout fuse holders in which they are installed. They are available in Type K, X, T, KS, 200 (N) and QA style configurations and are colour-coded to minimise the risk of installing the wrong fuse link type.
