Needle valves are designed to adjust the flow of air or fluid passing through any passage; suitable for use with coolers and hydraulic or pneumatic systems. They use a slender needle-shaped plunger that sits on a conical seat and can withstand a maximum working pressure of 6000 PSI. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these precision needle valves from brands like Anderson Metals, Hayward, Parker, Watersaver Faucet Company, Weatherhead and GF Piping Systems. Parker needle valves feature a tight shut-off mechanism for preventing leakages of the controlled fluid when put in a closed position and regulating the flow rate in instrumentation and metering applications. These units come equipped with a handwheel or small handle designed specifically to control the position of the plunger and allow precise and accurate fluid control. They are available in angled and straight type fitting styles allowing a maximum flow rate of 4.6 GPM. Hayward plumbing needle valves feature an integral stem with a PTFE seating for withstanding temperatures up to 70 degrees F.
