Lug Compression Connectors

Burndy long barrel compression connectors are designed to slide over naked wires to provide connections in electrical circuits. They are made from copper for offering high conductivity and feature long, straight barrel connector bodies for easy connections. These lugs are electro-tin plated for withstanding overcurrent and harsh weather scenarios. The peep hole allows ensuring electrical connections are securely and correctly made. Burndy compression lugs feature high-conductivity copper construction that resists overheating. They are UL listed and CSA certified to provide reliable and controllable electrical connections. These lugs are integrated with a Break-Away feature that allows field modification of the terminal from a two-hole to a one-hole design to suit various bus bar applications. They come with an electro tin-plated finish to provide long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Burndy aluminium tin-plated compression terminals are designed for both aluminium & copper conductors. The aluminium construction with electro-tin plating provides maximum conductivity, low resistance and ductility. These terminals feature an internally bevelled barrel design to ensure easy cable insertion. They come with colour-coded end caps inserted in the barrel end to identify the colour-coded die for a reliable connection. The units feature factory prefilled PENETROX to penetrate the wires’ oxides, establish electrical continuity and form an airtight connection.
