Limit/Interlock Switches

Dayton limit switches are ideal for activating or deactivating power when travel limits are exceeded. These switches feature DPDT contacts to simultaneously handle two energised circuits and are integrated with screw terminals to allow easy wiring configuration. They are capable of withstanding operating temperatures ranging from -20 to 185 degrees F and have NEMA 3, 4, 4X, 6P & 13 rated enclosure for protection from the ingress of contaminants, oil or non-corrosive coolants. Variants are available in depths of 1.76, 2.52, 2.72 and 3 inches.

Dayton enclosed limit switches are designed for detecting the positioning, passing and presence / absence of objects in industrial operations. These electromechanical devices feature an actuator that senses an object coming in contact with the limit switch and instantaneously closes or open the electrical connection.
