Industrial Diaphragm Pumps

Flojet industrial-grade diaphragm pumps are designed to transfer liquids with low, medium or high viscosities. These pumps feature a polypropylene housing combined with a sealed motor that enables the pump to handle a higher dry vacuum. The self-priming design of these pumps allows them to be installed above the supply tank level. They are further integrated with a sealed pressure switch that automatically starts and stops the pump when the discharge valve opens and closes, respectively. Selected models come with a built-in thermal protector to switch off the device, in case of overloading. Choose from a wide range of these diaphragm pumps available in flow rates ranging from 2.3 to 3.5 gpm, on Raptor Supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between single diaphragm and double diaphragm pumps?

Single diaphragm pumps have one diaphragm, while double diaphragm pumps have two diaphragms that work alternately, providing continuous fluid flow.

What are the safety considerations when using diaphragm pumps?

Safety precautions include proper installation, maintenance and the use of appropriate protective equipment, especially when handling hazardous chemicals.

What is the difference between air-operated diaphragm pumps and electric diaphragm pumps?

Air-operated diaphragm pumps use compressed air to move the diaphragm, while electric diaphragm pumps use an electric motor. Air-operated pumps are often chosen for their explosion-proof and portable nature.
