Gage blocks / clamps are designed for clamping jaws by stacking them together to produce the desired length in mechanical applications. They feature metal or ceramic bodies that provide precision measurement and exact calibration. Mitutoyo sets provide extra thin blocks (ranging from 0.1 to 0.99 mm) and thermal expansion properties. Pin gages from Starrett come equipped with fully adjustable Go / NoGo gage handles for checking the quality of the bored hole.
