AHayward WCV Series wafer check valves are utilised in piping systems to prevent the backflow of fluids. They have contoured inlet ports for minimum head loss. These valves feature FPM / EPDM gasket and face seals to avoid leakage. They feature integral bolt eyes for easy installation in either horizontal or vertical directions. These wafer check valves feature 316 stainless steel / Hastelloy disc spring construction and are rated for pressures up to 150 psi.

AVal-Matic general-purpose check valves are designed with an inline silent body ideal for use with potable water and vertical-flow applications requiring a high head. These non-slam check valves come equipped with a spring, tested for over 100000 cycles, to eliminate the water hammer effects (high-pressure shock waves) caused by abrupt pump shut down or closing of the valve disc. Val-Matic check valves feature a short linear stroke and a spring return action that works together to close the valve before the flow reversal, and an expanded body with a fast closure mechanism for providing a full-flow area. They also have a metal-to-metal seating facility and a double-guided disc for high precision and reducing the vibrational loads, respectively. Val-Matic check valves are NSF/ANSI 372 certified for including lead-free components and NSF/ANSI 61 certified for use with drinking water.

Check and foot valves are designed to allow unidirectional flow and are widely used in sump / wet pumps for drawing water out of the well while restricting backsiphonage by closing the valve. These units have a strainer, attached to the open-end, for preventing clogging of valves caused by dust and debris and providing a smooth suction lift. Hayward flow check valves come with square-cut O-ring seats for proper sealing and providing minimum backpressure.
