Check and foot valves are designed to allow unidirectional flow and are widely used in sump / wet pumps for drawing water out of the well while restricting backsiphonage by closing the valve. These units have a strainer, attached to the open-end, for preventing clogging of valves caused by dust and debris and providing a smooth suction lift. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these foot / check valves from brands like Alpha Fittings, Apollo, Bel-Art-Scienceware, Brady, Campbell, Dayton, Georg Fischer, GF Piping Systems, Hammond Valve, Hayward, IPEX USA LLC, John Guest, Liberty Pumps, Milwaukee Valve, Mueller Steam and Parker. Hayward flow check valves come with square-cut O-ring seats for proper sealing and providing minimum backpressure. These units feature PVC / CVPC construction for withstanding high temperatures and a modular design providing flexibility with vertical-type mounting position. They are available in flanged, FNPT, SKT type connection options with pressure ratings up to 16 Bar at 21 degrees C operating temperature. Milwaukee Valve Company swing valves feature a single inline assembly with seat faces in lapping style for improved sealing and blocking the reverse flow. The brass / PTFE seal construction of these valves provides flexibility, additional strength and prevent leakages, even at temperatures and pressures as high as 1000 degrees F and 300 PSI, respectively.
