Apollo 61LF-PR Series ball-type check valves have a low-lead bronze body with press connections and are used to provide protection against backflow. Apollo ball cone valves are made of ASTM-approved components, including a corrosion-resistant RPTFE ball and a PTFE seat with an NSF-grade EPDM seal. These can be mounted vertically and horizontally and can work at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit with 250 psi of maximum water pressure.

SMC 426 Series check valves allow the flow of fluid in one direction while preventing backflow in the opposite direction. These valves are constructed with grey PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) to offer corrosion resistance, durability and affordability, making them ideal for water treatment, chemical handling and plumbing & irrigation systems. They incorporate a stainless steel ball and spring configuration that allows the valve to close / open when the pressure in the system rises or drops, thus regulating proper flow and preventing back siphonage. These units are further integrated with Buna-N / Viton seals to prevent leakage and intrusion of contaminants for the smooth functioning of internal parts.

Check and foot valves are designed to allow unidirectional flow and are widely used in sump / wet pumps for drawing water out of the well while restricting backsiphonage by closing the valve. These units have a strainer, attached to the open-end, for preventing clogging of valves caused by dust and debris and providing a smooth suction lift. Hayward flow check valves come with square-cut O-ring seats for proper sealing and providing minimum backpressure. They are available in flanged, FNPT, SKT type connection options with pressure ratings up to 16 Bar at 21 degrees C operating temperature. Milwaukee Valve Company swing valves feature a single inline assembly with seat faces in lapping style for improved sealing and blocking the reverse flow. The brass / PTFE seal construction of these valves provides flexibility, additional strength and prevent leakages, even at temperatures and pressures as high as 1000 degrees F and 300 PSI, respectively.
