Proto box end wrenches come with closed loops at both ends to fit hexagonal or square bolts. These box-end wrench sets have an enclosed head on each end of the handle that provides more contact to the fastener and allows more torque than an open-end wrench since the box end is less likely to slip off the fastener.

AProto box end wrenches are designed with a TorquePlus system to aid in loosening or tightening stubborn and damaged bolts / nuts, as well as fasteners made of soft material. These units feature 12 point box end construction to offer fine indexing and improved speed and a 60 degree deep offset (selected models) for improved access to deeply recessed fasteners. All the models come in a full polish finish to provide resistance against oxidation reactions and easy-to-clean surfaces. They are offered in both SAE and Metric variants.
