Raptor Supplies offers a wide array of PHCC Pro Seriesand Zoeller battery operated sump pumps providing protection against overflooding damages. These pumps come handy when the primary pump fails due to mechanical failure, power outages or excessive use. They feature an automatic start facility to handle abrupt motor failures and a monitoring system to regulate the power supply and battery life. Selected models further come integrated with a computer-programmed battery charging system to keep the batteries fully charged at all times and keep a check on minimal water loss.
Regular maintenance of your battery-operated sump pump is important to ensure that it will operate properly when needed. This includes checking the battery charge level, testing the pump periodically and replacing the battery as needed.
A battery-operated sump pump works by using a rechargeable battery to power the pump motor. When the primary sump pump fails or there is a power outage, the battery-operated pump is activated and begins pumping water out of the sump pit.
