General Purpose Motors, Open Dripproof
Dayton general purpose open drip-proof motors are ideal for non-hazardous applications with pumps, machine tools & ventilation equipment. These motors are equipped with ball bearings for low rotational friction and feature frames made of steel / rolled steel / cast iron for structural rigidity & corrosion resistance. They allow face / cradle / base mounting for easy installation and deliver speeds up to 3555 rpm. These motors are capable of being operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees C and are available in 1 & 3 phase configurations.

The general-purpose AC motors are designed for applications in compressors, machine tools, pumps, conveyors and fans. Raptor Supplies is a global distributor of these AC motors from popular brands like Baldor, Marathon, Leeson, Dayton, WEG and USEM. AC motors, such as servo motors, washdown motors, fire pump motors and air compressor motors, have a break down torque varying up to 1030 lb-ft and are offered in rigid, no mount and bracket mount base types.
