AC current line splitters offer safe and accurate amperage measurements without cutting off the plug and separating the conductors. Raptor Supplies offers a huge range of AC current line splitters from brands such as Reed Instruments and Extech. Reed Instruments slitters enable a clamp meter with jaw size of 0.75 inches or above to measure AC current on a 2-wire or 3-wire power cord up to 15A. These current line splitters are Cat II 600 V safety rated and increase basic meter sensitivity by a factor of 10. Extech current line splitters feature two Voltage Test jacks that allow measuring voltage using a multimeter. Plug the power connector into the line splitter to separate the hot / live conductor from the neutral and ground points for easy & safe current measurements.
