The lever-operated, 2-way Val-Matic plug valves are suitable for on-off operations and are capable of providing bubble-tight shutoff. These heavy-duty plug valves feature cast-iron body construction and have a Buna-N seal, FNPT connection type. They offer a maximum pressure rating of 175 psi and an operating temperature range of -30 to 150 degrees F. They have a self-adjusting and replaceable V-type packing and are compatible with non-abrasive slurries, potable / raw water and raw / screened sewage. The brand's high-quality air release clean water valves are used in pressure filters, hydropneumatic tools and water distribution systems, releasing unwanted air pockets during system operation and protecting against air-related surges.
